Communities & Associations

  • What does Usherfly look like for communities?

Instead of writing the same email every time a new member joins, build a standard flow. Members learn about the community, fill in the profile form, and accept the guidelines — all at their own pace.

  • What's the simplest first flow I can run?

Community intro (INFO) → Profile form (FORM) → Code of conduct commitment (E-SIGN). Three steps, new member onboarded.

  • How do I structure steps for community onboarding?

INFO for community intro, FORM for profile and survey, E-SIGN for membership and commitments, DOCUMENT for charter or governance, TASK for actions like joining channels.

  • How do I invite members?

For a single member, use "Add onboardee." For batch intake, upload a CSV.

  • What's the freemium limit and when should I upgrade?

1 concurrent active onboarding (finish one, free the slot); admins and templates are unlimited. Move to Growth (10) when you need to bring more members on board at once.

  • What's the most common pitfall?

Making the INFO step too long. An INFO step that runs more than a few paragraphs causes members to drop off. Put the summary in INFO, the detailed text in a DOCUMENT step.

  • Can I build a separate flow for volunteers?

Yes. Add a volunteer orientation flow alongside the general member flow. Growth plan required for two concurrent flows.
